Join us for a special Shabbaton weekend with our guest, Rabbi Lauren Tuchman, who will speak to us about “Confronting Our Inner Pharaoh: What Do We Struggle To Let Go Of?” Together we will study Parashat Bo, and learn what lessons we can take from Pharaoh’s continual constriction of the heart for our own lives as individuals and as a community.
Services are on Friday night at 6pm and Saturday morning at 10am. There will be a dinner on Friday night following services (please RSVP for the dinner by January 29 to amy@bethelhbg.org or 717-232-0556; the cost for the dinner is $22/person).
We will be celebrating this Shabbaton in honor of Jewish Disability Awareness and Inclusion Month. Our special guest, Rabbi Lauren Tuchman, is a sought after speaker, spiritual leader, and educator, who is, as far as she is aware, the first blind woman in the world to enter the rabbinate.
